Zinc Sterndrive Anodes
These zinc sterndrive anodes are designed to be placed onto the sterndrive of your vessel. As zinc is a more reactive metal than the sterndrive (or outdrive as it's also known as), the zinc sterndrive anode will sacrifice itself, protecting your sterndrive from galvanic corrosion.
Thanks to the density and structural composition of zinc, zinc anodes offer significantly better impact strength, in comparison with magnesium sterndrive anodes and aluminium sterndrive anodes, which can be critical in some marine environments. Furthermore, zinc anodes provide a more even decay across the anode.
