Zinc hanging anodes are perfect for those with boats moored in salt water, as zinc anodes have significantly better impact strength thanks to their density and structural comparison, in comparison with aluminium hanging anodes and magnesium hanging anodes.

Hanging anodes are hung over the side of your vessel at the stern, and the cable is connected inside the vessel to provide continuity to the underwater items to be protected, hence the term 'hanging' - this helps take the strain off your fixed hull anodes.
